When will OCHC take place and what is the format?

The event will take place Oct. 17-19, with select pre-conference events on Oct. 17. OCHC will be a hybrid event to provide clients an opportunity to learn, engage and connect whether in-person or virtual.

Yes, you can request a substitution by sending an email to the OCHC registration team at with the names of both the original and substitute registrants. Substitutions will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Central Time, Thursday, October 13, 2022.

Oracle Cerner Health Conference registration fees are refundable on or before 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) Thursday, October 13, 2022. Fees for registrations and cancellations of registrations received after 11:59 p.m. CST Thursday, October 13, 2022 are not refundable.

  • You cannot reinstate a registration after you cancel it.
  • Cancellation of travel and/or hotel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the registrant.
  • No refunds are given for purchases of Group passes.
  • If attendees must cancel their OCHC registrations due to a denied visa application, they still need to adhere to the Cancellation Policy deadlines listed here.
  • Eligible refunds will be processed for the US dollar amount of the registration fee payment at the time of the original transaction and will not include any other fees incurred such as wire transfer, international taxes, etc. Oracle Cerner is not responsible for fluctuations in currency exchange rates between the transaction date and the refund date.

If you cancel and are entitled to a refund, expect the refunded amounts within 30 days following valid notice of cancellation. All refunds will be issued back to the original payment card or payment type.

Oracle Cerner reserves the right to refuse registration or admission to anyone for any reason. If Oracle Cerner cancels an attendee’s registration prior to the cancellation deadline, Oracle Cerner will provide a full refund of the registration fee. If Oracle Cerner revokes a registration due to abuse or misconduct, the registration fee is not eligible for refund. If Oracle Cerner rescinds your registration and refunds your payment, Oracle Cerner will not be liable for any incidental damages, such as flight, hotel, or other related expenses.

COVID-19 information

What health and safety precautions are in place?

We review our COVID-19 safety protocols constantly. Any requirements for OCHC22 will be announced according to local, national and international guidelines before the event to provide adequate time for attendees to meet any requirements.

As part of the entry requirements for OCHC, all client attendees must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of negative COVID-19 test results within 72 hours of arriving to enter.

You may bring your vaccination card with you and show it at the registration desk upon event check-in.

You may still register for our virtual event where you’ll have access to 20+ on-demand demo recordings, live-streamed sessions, in-platform engagements and session recordings available for up to 60 days post-event.

Will continuing education be offered at OCHC22?

Continuing education will be offered for those sessions that qualify. We’ll provide more information closer to the event in the continuing education section of the website.

Hotel and travel

How do I reserve a hotel room?

Please note: due to overwhelming demand for hotel accommodations, Oracle Cerner Health Conference (OCHC) hotel room blocks are full and hotel reservations are now closed.

All reservations were turned over to the OCHC hotels on Monday, Sept. 26. Attendees who have reserved rooms in a OCHC room block can expect to receive a confirmation directly from the hotel within the next 7-10 days.

We recommend visiting the VisitKC website for additional hotel options and availability. Please note, OCHC shuttles only run to conference hotels.

No, guests must register for OCHC individually and select their own hotel rooms at that time.

All hotels are located in downtown Kansas City within walking distance of the Kansas City Convention Center and Municipal Hall.

Yes, we’ll provide ADA transportation to all hotels. The shuttle schedule will be posted at a later time.

Yes, during registration please input any food allergies and be on the lookout for a communication prior to the event.

What is the event attire?

Attire is relaxed professional with jeans and tennis shoes welcome. We recommend bringing a jacket and checking the Kansas City forecast. Don't forget your attire for The Bash. This year’s theme is Healthcare Heroes!
